THE PROCESS

Filters are collected and transported back to the processing plant.

DRAINED

When we collect the waste oil and fuel filters it is put into our truck which has two catch tanks. This allows the filters to be drained of waste oil during transportation back to the processing plant.

SORTED

Once the waste oil filters have arrived at the processing plant they are then put onto a sorting tray which allows the waste oil to be drained from the filters and then during this process the waste paper filters are separated from metal waste filters.

DRAINED AGAIN

The next stage of the process is to extract waste oil from the filters. The filters are then put through a machine which begins the extraction process and feeds the waste oil into the holding tank to be recycled.

CRUSHED AND INTO BRICKS

As soon as the waste oil extraction process is finished, the filters are then crushed into bricks.

DRAINED A THIRD TIME

When the bricks have been produced, they are then put onto a tray and left to drain to collect any remaining waste oil residue that may be left over.

STACKED READY FOR METAL RECYCLING

Once the third draining processing is done, the metal bricks are then stacked on pallets ready to be recycled.
